Australia and New Zealand are one of the few countries around the world that seem to be doing well economic wise – Hooray for us!
We have not seen anything in the news about any industry on the verge of decline or crises, and that is definitely good to know because if any country – any country at all—experiences any sort of crisis in any industry, it will have a ripple effect worldwide.
Other countries may become directly or indirectly affected like what happened to the United States real estate industry a few years ago. Now, let us try to take a closer look at the construction industry of both Australia and New Zealand and where it is headed in the year 2015.
Let’ start with Australia.
If you want to know forecasts about the construction and building industry in Australia, one of the go to groups about this matter is the Australian Construction Industry Forum or ACIF.
They claim to be the initial information source when it comes to one of Australia’s biggest markets– the building and construction industry. They are managed by the ACIF’s Construction Forecasting Council or CFC and they provide biannual forecasts. Unfortunately, they require a sign up and membership fee on their website to be able to view those forecast reports so I had to look for another source.
